Paul Breed is an employment and civil rights lawyer who has been defending the rights of working people for over 25 years. Mr. Breed graduated in 1983 from the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College where he served on the law review. Following stints working for the Hon. Phillip Roth, and at the United States Attorney's Office in Portland he served for two years as an associate for a respected Portland law firm engaged in business litigation and then opened his own practice in 1987. He has represented thousands of employees in wage and hour, employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, civil service and other facets of the law relating to the employee/employer relationship. As a trial lawyer he has represented thousands of working people in both individual and class actions. He has represented clients in over 100 trials and arbitrations over the years.

In addition to employment related litigation, he has significant experience in the areas of personal injury law, criminal law, administrative law, business litigation and appeals. On a very selective basis he may represented accident victims who have suffered personal injuries and individuals in non-employment related civil rights cases.

He has an excellent record of favorable verdicts and settlements as a litigator. He is a member of the Oregon State Bar, the Employment law section of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and the National Employment Lawyers Association. He has frequently lectured and published employment law and civil rights issues. He has been admitted to the Oregon State Bar, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
